Wedding: Olivia & Rick...details

Details post! I may have to make this post a standard with every wedding so bride's can get great ideas from other weddings! First of all, I would strongly suggest the venue, Yew Dell Gardens, in Crestview KY. The entire place, from start to finish, was breathtakingly beautiful (and so was the bride). Honestly, I was just blown away by the gardens. It was a hot day but Megan and I were happy to deal with it considering the beautiful venue and gorgeous sculptures throughout. There wasn't a bad spot for a photo shoot anywhere here! And the staff was very friendly.

Here are a couple shots of the bride's shoes, I couldn't decide which one I liked better. Which one do you like?

Thanks again Rick and Olivia! I wish you both a very happy marriage! I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon (Rick surprised Olivia with the location!!!)!

Wedding: Olivia & Rick

I am really having trouble with this sneak peek. The problem is that I just can't decide which pictures to post because there are so many that I love from this day! The love that was shared on this day was simply amazing. I am probably going to have to do a portrait post and a detail post. Simply because the details were extraordinary and beautiful. The friends and family for this wedding were so incredible and supportive and shared a love for this couple that was inspiring.
First, the portraits!!!
The bride and groom share a special moment:

The wedding party give the couple a hand! :)

The couple decided to share a first look! Look at Rick's face as soon as he saw his bride!!! :) Plus of course the nurse and the fireman had to check each other's pulse rate during this time!!

Thank you for letting me share in your special day. Up next: the details of the day.

SNEAK PEEK: ivy CONTINUED!!!

I just can't help but post more sneak peek photos of Ivy.
It probably has something to do with how beautiful her eyes are!
Sometimes a girl just needs her Mommy. :}

She loved to show off her lipgloss!

SNEAK PEEK: ivy

This was a very special shoot for me! My mom and I watched Ivy for the first year of her life while her mom was teaching 1st grade. We love this baby so much and enjoyed each day with her! I can't believe that she is three years old and is about to be a big sister! They have such a beautiful family and I love that they chose me to photograph her 3 year old pictures. I may have gotten carried away with the amount of sneak peek images I'm posting but this baby has the most gorgeous eyes! (You might recognize them from my business cards!)

Ivy loved showing off her dancing skills!

Just look at those beautiful eyes! I had so much fun with you Ivy and Sarah! I can't wait to meet Tula and hopefully get a family photo soon!

Wedding: Kristan & Daniel

I had the opportunity to photograph Kristan and Daniel's wedding in Henry County, Kentucky. After only getting lost a couple of times, Megan and I found ourselves surrounded by oceans of farmlands. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!

Look at those shoes!!!!

Good Luck Kristan and Daniel! I hope you had fun in Disney World!!!

Engagement: Olivia and Rick

What a fun day! I had the pleasure to photograph Olivia and Rick in Midway, a tiny town about 15- 2o minutes from Lexington. It was a hot day but we made it through! It was nice practice for what is sure to be a very hot wedding day ay the end of July ;) Olivia is going to be a beautiful bride. They were willing to do anything for a good shot! :) Here are some of my favorite snapshots of the day! :)

They both have such incredible eyes! Can't wait to see how they look on their wedding day. Its coming up soon! Here's one last shot of the day! :) Thanks for being great subjects Olivia and Rick!

Wedding: Melissa and Jim continued

I loved all the homemade details of this beautiful day! Melissa is an absolute wonder. She made these hand crafted programs out of scrapbook paper and I loved the varying colors and patterns!

Look at this amazing idea! Instead of a guest book, use an address book so the couple can have easy access to your address for thank you cards and for future postage!
